- Fractional phosphate excretion arithmetic v1: FEPO4 (%) = 100 × (urine phosphate × plasma creatinine) / (plasma phosphate × urine creatinine); phosphate in mg/dL is explicitly phosphorus mass and is normalized to mmol/L with NIST phosphorus atomic weight 30.973761998 g/mol, while creatinine is normalized to µmol/L with NIST molecular weight 113.1179 g/mol; plasma and urine analyte, specimen, and unit identities remain explicit
- Population
- People with quantitative plasma or serum and urine phosphate plus plasma or serum and urine creatinine measurements paired from the same clinically relevant sampling interval and specimen context, after analyte identities, specimen identities, reported units, laboratory results, and assay comparability are verified.
- Limites et exclusions
- Mismatched specimens or sampling intervals, unpaired measurements, or unverified analyte identity, specimen identity, unit, laboratory result, or assay comparability. · Silent interchange of phosphate and creatinine, plasma and urine, phosphorus mass in mg/dL and whole-phosphate mass, or any inferred or silently reinterpreted analyte or unit identity. · Any cutoff, threshold, result category, interpretation, tubular reabsorption of phosphate (TRP), TmP/GFR calculation, diagnosis, prognosis, phosphate replacement, dosing, treatment, management, or clinical decision.
